"Ed Orgeron, LSU: He’s not even two years removed from leading LSU to the national title and arguably the greatest season in college football history, but industry experts believe Tiger brass — namely athletic director Scott Woodward — would like to make a coaching change and have felt that dating back to last season. A Louisiana native, Orgeron seemed an ideal fit for this program, but he made some bad hires (most notably Bo Pelini), and 2020 seemed to be a testament to Murphy’s law. He’s also been named in the ugly Title IX situation at LSU."

Literally the only characteristic Orgeron possess that would make someone say:

Shea letting the nugget about Callaway being lied to by O tells you it’s over. Shea depends on staff communication for much of his intel, and to release damning O stories tells us O out by end of the month.

Expect Rabalais article this week as well on future direction and more damaging O stories as the admin gets its ducks in a row to make the move.

I hate this. This is what they think of us; that us Louisianians just want a guy who can make a roux and listens to Wayne Toups, while not acknowledging that our last two coaches were a West Virginia hillbilly, and a Midwest Ohio born Michigan man. Both won a national championship here.

We don't want a guy who just knows how to make jambalaya. We want a coach who wins and keeps the program respectable.

You need to get the .gif extension in the url or it won't work. I usually right-click the image on those gif websites and select Open Image in New Tab. That usually does the trick, but not always.

And Feldman isn't a guy who has it out for Orgeron.
