My wife can't find the Clorox pods they make. She makes me look for it anytime I'm at a store. She's pretty sloppy pouring liquid bleach and has ruined a few items of clothes, so the pods were a godsend for her. But now they're hard to find.
THere have been other things, but nothing that wasn't easily adaptable for us. All Purpose cleaner was hard to find for a month or two earlier this year, but that worked itself out. Chicken wings I guess, but chicken thighs are just as good off the grill or smoker so no big deal.

Yesterday I stopped at a Dollar General (I know, trashy) to pick up a can of wasp spray. They were out. Looking around they were also out of a bunch of things. Deodorant. Razors. Trash bags. Lots of cleaning products. Entire sections of shelves totally empty.
I went down the road to the Family Dollar. Also out of wasp spray.
Orders a 6-pack on Amazon at 2 yesterday afternoon and they just dropped it off.
Amazon is about to run the world.

I ordered a sectional in April and they told me 28 weeks at least, so I'll get it around Christmas. And that was in April. Things have changed since then, so who knows.
Rouj Creole was out of crab claws a couple nights ago, which was a tragedy

I was in a super market in Metairie a few days ago and I saw a woman with two baskets take every package of hamburger and hot dog buns off the shelf. And I saw her in the parking lot putting them in her SUV, so the supermarket allowed her to buy every one they had. I'm thinking she was buying for a school.

This is why I thought it was crazy that so many people were like "screw it" and evacuated leaving their fridge of food behind. Or who tied up the fridge and put it to the street before evacuating.
There's just no telling how quickly you can get a new one, and that's not something you can really go without. I'd have either taken the food with me in an ice chest, or just thrown it out before it had a chance to go bad in the fridge.

Appliances have been difficult to get for more than a year now. I have family in the business and he just cannot get inventory fast enough.
