The attorney will be submitting “new information” to the NCAA in an effort to seek what's termed a "reconsideration," Jackson says. Emery's initial appeal was denied.

Well Fulton went from being a bust to All SEC so maybe Emery can follow the same path.

Well he needs to first get an offensive line to block and a coach to develop.

Behind this offensive line? Lol GTFO

My favorite memory of this is when the locker room went crazy and Brennan got nut checked.

He was a stud from day 1 at practice. He came in with the swagger of a jr. lockdown corner and everybody saw it.

Well, I guess this confirms the rumours that it was a class credit issue...
I don't blame the family for taking action!!

I have been removed from this whole thing…
Is O not fighting for his reinstatement? And if not…why?

This sums up the entire university.

O can’t threaten legal action against NCAA. A lawyer can.

Still doesn’t tell us what happened. Fulton was a piss test and still sat an entire year for it.
The 2 year ban was bullshite.

Maybe there’s an entirely different and more talented Oline that we don’t even know about that he can get reinstated?

Not just that but after the appeal process!! there is no other recourse for the university!! that's why the family had to get involved and take legal actions!! O neither the school can

Because you have incompetency in compliance department.

Well our starting left tackle is now starting for Kentucky.... soo.....
Seems like we have these types of issues a lot more than other programs.

This is looking more and more like an academic integrity issue which is handled entirely by the university's academic side and trumps any coach or athletic department employee/official.
If Emery was cheating or plagiarizing and got caught, then there is zero that the coaches can do. The university will follow their procedures, and that may include Emery losing status as a student or being eligible for the team.
He and his family are lawyering up to navigate the university's policies and find the loophole that allows him to return to good academic standing. That's my best guess based on what's come out in the past few days.
