Student section was easily the most full area of the stadium. I'd say 60isk thousand actual from.what I could see in the south end zone.

Why lie about attendance. We all know 94K didn’t attend the game.

I could not see West upper but I’m guessing 60-70. No way more than 70k.

By the way, I thought it was a good crowd under the circumstances and the student section was packed.

Haven’t seen the student section that packed for a shite game like McNeese in a long time. Half the student body has never had LSU football before and it showed. They wanted to have some fun. Hilariously though a lot of students had no idea about the cheers in our section. Never seen that before. Does LSU not teach this stuff at orientation anymore?

Agreed.

Next week (with potentially shitty weather and on the heels of a shite performance) against a team that won’t bring many people, I could see the number dropping off by 15 to 20k.

McNeese brought quite a few people last night. Central Michigan won’t.

Time will tell.

No school reports actual attendance any longer. Everyone just reports tickets sold as the attendance figure.

Better attendance than I anticipated, but definitely not 90,000. That’s close to 90% capacity and it was no where near that. Whole sections of the uppers were practically empty. Large sections of the sidelines had openings. Overall better than what I anticipated and the crowd definitely filled in late, but no where near 90,000. Much closer to 60-70% full

Salesmanship. 94K paid, but several on here estimated 60K actual. Actually the paid number is what goes in the statistics I believe.

It has to be one of the lowest attended games for a home opener in school history...at least in terms of % of stadium filled.

Some areas were pretty full, but when they showed uppers and certain areas, it was pretty barren looking.
