Remember when posters were roasted after 2019 for saying 2019 was b/c of Burrow?

Does anyone else disagree now that without Burrow, O gets fired after 2018?

Orgeron was who we thought he was.

It brings me no joy saying that but if you harvested post hire threads/posts they would have predicted all of this.

No consistency because he’s completely reliant on coordinators. Doesn’t have a real idea of a philosophy he wants.

The only positives were recruiting and cheap.

He’s no longer cheap.

No denying it was because of Burrow but it also fit perfectly in what O is good at which is to find the best coaches and players. Doesn’t look like it’s working anymore.

Damn….so Burrow both provided for the greatest season in LSU history AND saddled LSU with dropping into the depths that will take years to recover from

IDK how to feel

No, I don't. I remember everyone being insanely fricking happy we won a national title in such convincing fashion.

O gets some credit for 19. He made the hires and brought em in (exactly like the binder said he would). 20 he failed to do that and we gave him a pass. Its now looking like 20 again. Unless something seriously changes this year (I doubt it will) we now have a large enough sample size... it's time for him to go.

The line of idiots that fell for his con job won’t be a short one.

yeah tired of hearing Joe Brady offense. It was the other Joe's offense. W/O Burrow, 2019 doesn't happen.

Anyone who didn’t see this is clueless or part of the Rosy Finch Boyz brigade.

That said, it’s never as bad as it seems after a game like this. Eventually the talent takes over and more importantly the assistants get more time to do their own work whereas O is mucking shite up all offseason.

Without Burrow, O has early season losses to Troy, Miss St x2, Missouri, a damn near home loss to Syracuse, and that disaster last night.

His offseason management of this program is fireable, and it isn’t until he’s busy with in season media obligations and other stuff that the actual coaches on the staff can get the team prepared as best as they can without having to cater to him.

So I’m guessing 7-5 with a late unexpected win like last year and then we’ll hear see he’s got it back on track now, just wait until next year!!

OL hasn’t been any good since he took over full time, we have no running game to speak of, and our back seven is constantly confused and burned for big plays.

But, I’m sure we’re just a year away from another 2019 run!!!

People really thought it was all brady.

It was a combination of players and scheme at the perfect time.

The players had been on campus for 2 or 3 years.

Burrow
Clyde
Jj
Marshall
Chase moss. All 2 or 3 year players

Give brady this team and the outcome isn't the same

I don’t really get the point of the post. Of course, Burrow was a huge part of the success in 18 and 19, but it’s hard for to say the 19 team would have been bad without him. There was a lot of talent on that team and it seems fair to give O some credit for that. Unfortunately, O also owns 5-5 from last year and whatever happens this year.

I remember saying how he would start going downhill once he lost aranda.
Admittedly, i had no idea how steep of a drop that would be

2019 was a combination of 3 things

Joe Burrow
Joe Brady
Dave Aranda

All 3 are gone and what we see now is the same thing we saw when Ed was at Ole Miss

I got I good laugh at all the original Orgeron haters who suddenly loved him and acted like he was a top five college football coach

It was pretty obvious 2019 was more luck than anything. Really a perfect storm

Was there ever really anyone doubting that Burrow saved Orgerons job for a while??
