You consider it unreasonable to stop the murder of a human being?

Abortion is an actual hill worth dying on

Even if you don't particularly care about killing fetuses (you should), it's a cultural flashpoint and highlights the depravity and regressive nature of leftist policies.

Can you even wrap your head around a culture that says you're evil for not pretending a boy is a girl but you're admirable for killing a child/potential life you recklessly conceived?

Not all republicans are religious conservatives.

Go crawl back under your rock and snuggle with Liz Cheney. I'm sick of you spineless cucks.

Let's pretend for a moment that the anti-abortion movement was purely religious (it's not). We Christians were born in the midst of persecution. Our leader wasn't in the business of making friends and was brutally murdered because he went against the ruling authority of the day.

Christians shouldn't be trying to win a popularity contest.

In addition to that, what of all the "freedom" talk the GOP loves to through around, as if they are on the side of liberty and libertarians. Its not even a real problem, like who cares, consenting adults ect. Then, half of the uptight prudish religious dorks that constitute the republican party turn around and want to outlaw porno. Lol, could there be anything more out of touch.

I dont care about abortion either way, but you do have a point, which is even better amplified in opinions regarding porn / sexual liberation

You do whatever you heart desires, there are consequences for our decisions and behavior. Not sure if your mother is living or whether you have a sister or daughter….maybe you’re married? How would you feel about any of those women in your life being a prostitute? Maybe they perform sexual acts on video. Honest question. Are you ok with any of those women in your life doing such things?

They want the religious money for their upcoming campaigns. Most of the republican voters want to stop the murder of innocent babies. Roe vs wade would be a big part of the next 2 elections. If republicans get one more seat on the Supreme Court then roe vs wade could be overturned.

It’s a state issue. That’s how it needs to be presented.

If you want to be a Christian than you are right. If you want to have any influence in politics and society you are wrong

An election is literally a popularity contest. Politics is a battleground....its not a place to be persecuted, murdered, friendless and lacking authority. It is a place to do the opposite. The GOP, as political party, should be trying to win popularity contests in the form of elections by choosing the right values that are consistent and arguing for them, and trying to win political battles for those values. They shouldn't be trying to win religious points or joining christians in persecution and martyrdom.

1st trimester is 10000% a losing issue

2nd and 3rd trimester is a winning issue for GOP.

Take that and leave.

No. You have it bass-awkwards.

All these hot button social issues that have created the divide between Red and Blue States (abortion, drug legalization, “trans” bathroom “rights”, etc…) should rightly be returned to the individual states to decide.

Citizens who are opposed to say — marijuana legalization— are free to move to states that choose to continue to treat marijuana as an illicit substance. Though I support the decriminalization of illicit drugs I accept the reality that I live in Alabama, a Deep Red State in which many citizens are morally opposed to the legalization of marijuana.

I certainly do not think the predominate cultural values of Alabama should be imposed upon the citizens of say, San Francisco’s Castro district. Yet that philosophy of “live and let live” should be likewise reciprocated.

You are as dumb as a hammer. Abortion is the most important issue. If you can’t see it then piss off.
