It’s a losing issue, majority of this country do not want Roe versus Wade overturned.
Not all republicans are religious conservatives.

I don't give a shite either way, but I agree it's really not the winning move they think it is.

Especially banning it in cases of rape and incest.

On the flip side, it should be a state issue. Not federal.

And it was a state that changed it's law.

I don’t understand why republicans choose to fight this battle. It’s a major turn off to a decent chunk of the younger republicans

It's the only way to start to legitimize the institution

When it comes to murder, you do what's right. Religion doesn't matter here, most athiest don't believe murder should be legal either.

This has nothing to do with the idea that abortions are wrong.

A state wants to make a law for their own state? What's so bad about that? We are a republic for a reason

I'm not a social conservative. It's a scientific fact that babies are sentient beings at 6 weeks. They feel pain that early. At that point, there is no argument that a fetus isn't a living thing entitled to the same rights and privileges we enjoy.

This isn’t about politics. It’s about right and wrong. Murdering children is wrong.

frick any subhuman piece of trash who supports murdering children or is “turned off” by laws protecting children- faux Republican or not.

I think the Dems response to it has more than offset any impact.

They are hysterical in their push to kill babies.

don't pretend it's reasonable.

All you lame Club for Growth conservatives think the only way to win is to "not win". What are we even trying to win for in the first place if we are afraid of our own shadows. Pro Life is a winning issue, and the left is evil.

I don’t understand the point of “winning” if you aren’t going to push the things you fight for. Dems do it all the time (great society, Obama care, build back better, etc). It’s literally the point. We won. We ban abortion. We fight to preserve the ban. Otherwise what is the point of “winning”?
