The vast majority agrees late term abortion is wrong. People have plenty of options to make sure they do get pregnant and still have plenty of options to terminate their pregnancy before the time threshold stated in Texas law.
Abortion is the Dems golden calf for whatever reason. I just don’t see how it is good optics for their party with “regular” Americans to be continuously justifying killing babies.

Honestly, it's because the wiggle room is gone. There isn't a "clump of cells" or "viability" excuse left during late term.

I used to be pro-choice. Pretty strongly. And even then not in my wildest dreams would I ever thought that abortion on demand right up until birth would be mainstream thought in the pro-choice movement. They have gone off the deep end

It is.
It is also the one thing that can make them vote for idiots.
They can hate everything else, but still vote for people who support abortion.
They should've waited till after the election.
These idiots take the fact that people hate biden and his border policy energy policy, foreign policy and economic policy as a sign that they can pass prolife laws which will just galvanize support against Republicans.
