I grew up with your wife, her older sisters used to drive me to high school. Destrehan folks, good people.

I’ll be sure to send y’all good vibes.

As people said, call insurance now rather than later. We will all help you.

Where do you live? I’m on Bienville two blocks off Carrollton. I’m very nervous about my house. Right by Parkway Bakery.

Say baws, hope you see this. Just got back from mid city. Things looked pretty decent there. Some trees down, but no flooding. Looked similar to zeta damage

Man I feel kind of guilty right now. MSNBC just asked the hospital we’re at for a family interview and one of the head nurses asked me if I’d be the one to do it since my family has gone through so much here the past few months and especially past few days.

They’ve done so much for us here but with the emotions of today, I just couldn’t do it. I’d love to provide a testimonial and we’ve thought about doing that a ton but I’d be way too much of a bitch to get up in front of a camera with all we’ve had to process the past few days and today losing our house to do that. Just had to put that somewhere to get the guilt off my chest lol. I asked her to please think of us whenever they next look to do a family testimonial though.

I’d have told them to take a hike. They’d probably just bastardize your words anyway.

WAFB said its closed from Walker to Albany (both directions) due to debris on the road

That’s not accurate. Around noon I
drove on 12 from BR to Mandeville no problem. There were some trees down westbound in a couple spots that forced traffic to one lane

I certainly wouldn't feel guilty and neither should you. I'm sure they understand.

Hope all are well.

Power is now being supplied internally at Chez Füt.

Spoke a little too soon on this one.

Downtown Houma, Verizon went MIA at 7:30.

AT&T is back to a certain degree.

Fourchon looking rough but not as bad as it could have been. Long recovery ahead for those folks.
