If you took the tube, which station is best for after the match?

Where are you staying?

After the mid week Cup match against Brighton, a group of us were going back towards Paddington. It was easier to go back to the Drayton Arms Pub. Have a beer and let the crowd exhale. Into the tubes and such.

In 2017, after a midweek PL match, the shuffle out of the stadium and towards Arsenal tube station was a nightmare. Barricaded and cops doing crowd control. Paused the queue to allow people to tap in the station and such. Never again.

Highbury and islington station is about 4 blocks away, it doesn’t get as rammed on the walk there, but entering the station gets bottlenecked right after game.

If you don’t have to take a specific time train back to the countryside and only taking a few tubes back to your flat or hotel, go to a pub and thank me later.
I’ll be at the next Carabao Cap match against Palace in December.

Hoping to squeeze in another PL match before the new year too.

Stadium has been electric. Happy to see people staying until the whistle.
You can scan the pdf from your phone.

I had 4 tickets for the Brighton cup match. Two from Arsenal ballot that went to my Apple wallet and two from Arsenal America that were pdfs. Scanned from phone no problem.

Enjoy. Wear a scarf!

Success!
Office shut next week.

Have a few things I’ll tackle anyway. Don’t mind.
Hey hey my man!

Hoping to make it to Finn’s for second half of NLD.

Hope to see you!

Happy Thanksgiving.
Yeah, figured if I find a place with enough TVs, they’ll switch one over.

Hopefully her magpies can do us a solid. Not holding my breath tho.
Looking forward to getting some players back. Especially with the insane run in for the end of the year.

Anyone know where to watch matches in BR? I’ll be there tomorrow and my wife wants to catch Newcastle/City.
Only mortgage, pay a bit extra to principal monthly.

hA! Pretty sure I saved him.
hey!

been a minute for sure. currently in ET zone, much easier to catch up.
Currently in NYC for the week, the popeyes employees are exactly as you'd expect.

In England, they are all south east asian and have zero personality, good or bad.

Very different experience. The chicken sandwich and fries in England scratches the itch, but the rest is sort of meh.

The popeyes I had in NYC yesterday was * chefs kiss*
No.

Born: GNO

Live: England

Plan to return stateside in the next few years.
No idea yet, might be a fat frick and get popeyes again for lunch today.
I ordered 3 pc spicy tenders yesterday. Girl asked if I was okay with waiting 5 minutes for fresh ones.

I replied, "I'd love that, thanks"

She has a friend in the store, chatting to her and whatnot, but getting her orders out.

8 mins or so later, she is putting my box together, grabs a biscuit, then I can see her pressing on all of the biscuits with the tongs to test their freshness. She said, "can you wait another 2 minutes for a fresh biscuit?"

"Absolutely"

She dumps the tray with the remaining 4 older biscuits.

Couple of minutes later she hands me my bag. Get home and see 4 hot & fresh spicy tenders, piping hot mashed potatoes, 2 biscuits, & 2 sauces! She hooked it up with extra everything.

She asked if I cared about waiting, told her I had no where to be. She took care of me.
