Elementary school teacher beaten on the first day of school by father in CA over masks

A male teacher tried to step in during the argument to calm the father down, but a fight still ensued.
Sutter Creek Police officers did not arrest the student's father but said they are still investigating the incident.
According to Amador County Unified School District Superintendent Torie Gibson, the teacher suffered "lacerations on his face, some bruising on his a face and a pretty good knot on the back of his head," NBC reported. He was treated at the hospital but was released on the same day.
It was unclear if the parent sustained any injuries, but he was banned from being on campus.

I don’t agree with making kids wear masks but that dad is obviously an idiot with the way he handled it. And with the conspiracy remark he’d fit in on the Politics board.

People are tired of this non sense and this going to start happening more and more. Not saying the father is right ,but I can understand the why behind this. This virus is out there and will be seasonal like the flu, regardless of vaccines people will get this, and some may die. The masks are useless, social distancing is stupid and other than washing your hands and getting the vaccine there is nothing you can do. We have to live with it like we live with 1000s of other things that we deal with daily that can still kill you. This is definitely not about the virus anymore if it ever was, it is about control.
