The state owns the Superdome, not the city of New Orleans. Will their be any push back from the Saints or the state?

And I can choose to not patronize businesses that require me to have the vaccine. For the Government to mandate it is a gross over reach of power.

I don't want or need to be vaccinated, what part about my choices don't you understand.

I’d love to have a beer with one of the founding fathers today after he sees what’s going on with our government. Their jaws would drop

Wouldn't this violate the Interstate Commerce clause?

Rockets argument is that no one should get vaccinated and we should just let covid spread and we, meaning PEOPLE, should do absolutely nothing.

My argument is that people getting vaccinated OF THEIR OWN FREE WILL, COUPLED with natural immunities AND advances in treatment is the best way to go, not just letting it spread.

I assume that logical, nuanced answer is too much for you.

It has nothing to do with mandates of any kind.

Are you a fricking robot?

This is the govt literally telling the private business what they can and can’t do. It isn’t them making the choice for themselves

That simply giving up on vaccinations and just letting it spread and "doing nothing" (ie getting vaccinated, searching for better treatments or vaccinations) would be stupid.

That argument had nothing to do with Latoya and other power grab politicians flagrantly illegal mandates.

How is approaching this through multiple vectors somehow controversial?

Doesn't this mean that all employees of said establishments must also be vaccinated?

Aren't bars and restaurants already short staffed?

I'm super anti this mandate, but I am pro businesses being able to require employees or customers to be vaccinated if they want to...Do you disagree?

You want to kill your cities businesses? Cause that is how you do it.

Metro business will be fine. More than enough soy to keep them afloat.

Suburban and rural business that fall under a mandate will either get hit hard or decide not to enforce this shite.

so all the folks arguing in support of the logic of this mandate, they are just contrarians? mmmmkay 87.

I saw this thread and saw you were the last to respond, I knew what you posted before even reading it.

This is my take. From what I understand you have either be vaccinated or show a negative test result right... Or just not go right?

Louisiana is the least (or one of the least) vaccinated state and has one of the highest rates of Covid right?

They are trying to stop it from spreading and people have 3 options. Get vaccinated, show a negative test result.. Or don't go. Why complain about this? If you want to go somewhere bad enough get the vaccine or go take a test and if you are negative, show it. If you don't want to go that bad.. Then don't go.

All of these people with their different reasons why they don't want to get vaccinated.

- My brother in law's brother recently passed away in the hospital. He and the whole whole family were vocally against taking the vaccine. The family is still against it because? He didn't did from Covid, his cause of death shows that it was pneumonia.

BTW he was 61, not overweight. Not even close. I don't know if he had any other health issues.

And since this 4th surge has started the reasons I have heard either someone say or someone tell me why someone else isn't getting the vaccine is just down right crazy to the point it is getting harder and harder to take anyone against taking it (unless they have a condition of some sort where they can't take it) serious.

But back to my point.. 3 options.. Get vaccinated, show a negative test result.. Don't go. People need to pick one and stop bitching.
