re: Mercury outboard extended warranty - nated14
I bought it but haven’t used it in almost 2 years. For the price I like the peace of mind. I keep up with the maintenance pretty well but after dropping 25k on my pontoon boat with that same exact motor it was an easy choice ...

re: WiFi extender or new router? - nated14
I bought the Orbi mesh system and have zero regrets. My base station is upstairs and the satellite is downstairs in the kitchen. I have 2 fire TVs and one apple TV streaming direct TV now, our phones, 2 Echos, 2 dots,Blink cameras connected, and the kid's kindles connected at various times with no i...

re: Suntracker/party barge question - nated14
T only problem I have had with the weather is wanting to get back in faster. I've never felt unsafe on any of the lakes when weather kicks up and I'm probably better off being limited by speed. Pontoons offer a good deal of boat for the price, especially for families. I enjoyed my bay boat but the t...

re: Suntracker/party barge question - nated14
I have a 90 Merc on mine and the GPS says it hits 32 with about 400lbs of passengers plus ice chests and other gear. A friend of mine has the same boat with the 75 and it's not under powered. I would definitely 100% not go lower than a 75. I bought mine from Boat City USA and had the depth finder ad...

Saltwater Spincast Advice - nated14
I want to buy my 8yo son a spincast for saltwater fishing. I’m looking at Zebco Omega but not loyal to any brand. What does the OB suggest ...

re: Replacing existing alarm system with SimpliSafe - nated14
I went with self monitoring with ismart alarm. Have cameras with motion sensors indoors and window/door sensors. The app works really well and is customizable for arming times. You can listen and speak through the camera also. The system was pretty cheap at $200 and works with alexa. I get notificat...

re: Shooter reported at Texas' Santa Fe High School: At least 9 dead - nated14
Can’t legislate crazy. I would like to see school entries and exits treated like airport TSA. Controlled entrances and exits. Sucks having to go to school in prison but better than leaving on a gurney....

Hopefully the police put their best foot forward to find out who is responsible. Probably terrorists...you give them and inch and dammit they take a foot....

re: Suntracker/party barge question - nated14
I have the 20' bass buggy and wish I would have bought it sooner. I have 2 small kids that fish with me easily and I like the high sides the boat provides. I've been in pretty choppy water with no issues (G.I, T.B). The only thing I would do differently would be to add the third pontoon when I order...

re: OB Recommendations....on cordless tool sets - nated14
I have just about every Ryobi 18v tool made and have had zero issues for use around the house and camp. Everything from the pole saw and chainsaw to the tire inflator. I've built decks, redid my house after the flood, built deer stands, cleared brush, treehouses, and normal everyday shite. Zero issue...

re: I-10 West-Sorrento Fatal Crash Arrest Made - nated14
I can see both sides. Just because something terrible happened doesn't mean a law was broken or someone should be help to the ultimate accountability. Consequence bias comes into play some. Same scenario and it strikes the neighbor's house. It wouldn't be attempted murder....

re: I-10 West-Sorrento Fatal Crash Arrest Made - nated14
Good example/comparison. I say no. Unfortunate yes, irresponsible yes, malicious no. especially if the bullet went through the wall or something like that. The comparison is a little off if your sticking point is that laws were broken in the wreck on both sides. DUI and unrestrained passengers where...

I somewhat agree but YOU have the DUTY to protect your own children. This time it was a drunk douche next time it will be a blow out or a pot hole. I don't make my kids buckle in case there's a drunk a-hole or bc shite may happen....I make them buckle bc there ARE drunk a-holes and shite does happen...

re: Home Secruity Camera - nated14
I use the Blink cameras and I don't have any complaints. Amazon also bought them. The app is easy and I believe you can connect 5 cameras per sync module. I have orbi wifi and have a camera in my shed that's about 100yds away. The lithium batteries last for months. The one in my shed is going on a y...
