oh and they also have dozens of US Scan Eagle Drones to play with in the sky.
Update Herat has officially fallen to the Taliban. Afgan Gov't Troops evacuate from Herat in a hurry
Update 2: Khandahar has officially fallen to the Taliban. Rep. Mike Waltz
Update 3: Afgan Troops have fled Khandahar (video of their very abrupt departure LINK) US Ambassador to Afganistan escapes on the first plane out of Afganistan leaving everyone behind which angers other countries whose Ambassadors are still on the ground helping get their people out.
Update 4: New York Times is asking India's Mobi to help facilitate the evacuation of its journalists from Kabul. Problem is that the NYT has been a frequent critic of Mobi so let's see how this works out of them.
Raj Kaul
Update 5: It appears the Biden Administration's attempt to negotiate with the Taliban over our keeping our Embassy staff safe has fallen on deaf ears. The US is now considering the evacuation of the Kabul Embassy now. ZeroHedge Only problem with the Biden evacuation plan is that the evacuation wouldn't be started until August 31st.
Update 6: The fall of Kabul must have been completely underestimated because the US is now considering relocating its Embassy to the Kabul airport right now. Ana Cabrera reporting
Update 7: The US Embassy in Kabul has just released a notification to all US citizens that they need to leave Afghanistan immediately. Jihad Watch
Update 8: The US is scrambling with the realization that Kabul is likely to fall within hours not weeks. They are now immediately sending US special ops teams from across the globe to evacuate the Embassy. Megh Updates
Update 9: The Biden Administration is offering the Taliban billions in future in future monetary aid in exchange for them not bombing our embassy. NY Times
**Update 9 tells the world that the United States has lost its super power status.
Update 10: China told the Taliban it will recognize them as the legitimate government of Afghanistan the second that Kabul falls. US News & World Report
Update 11: The entire Helmand Province has now fallen into Taliban hands becoming the 13th providence to fall into Taliban hands so far. Kandahar & Herat were the 11 & 12th to fall today. The Taliban are now less than 93 miles from Kabul
Update 12: Reports are coming in that the President of Afganistan has fled Afganistan along with other senior government & military officials and are enroute for Delhi, India.
Update 13. Reports coming in that the Afghan army and police have started abandoning their positions in Kabul. The Taliban are less than 15 miles away from Kabul and it now appears as if Kabul will fall as early as tomorrow.
Update 14. Joe Biden has decided to take a 2 week vacation starting today.
Update 15: The Taliban have recovered 166 Blackhawk helicopters and reports coming in that they are using some of them to take out positions in Kabul.
Update 16: Reports now circulating in that Kabul has fallen and the Taliban are executing political leaders on site inside the city.
Update 17. The Taliban have taken over Kabul and are now setting their target on the Kabul International Airport. Heavy heavy heavy shelling at the Airport from the North, South, East, and West by the Taliban. There are over 10,000 Americans who are currently stranded and unconfirmed reports that the US Embassy may have been breached. The US Embassy did relocate to the Airport two hours ago but lots of Americans are still at the Embassy under a stay put order. Reports that of American casualties have started trickling in.
Update 18. The Taliban are outside the airport and people are running for their lives. Horrific videos are coming out at the airport.
Update 19. One US Army soldier was wounded at the Kabul airport and at least 7 others were killed today in the airport. The situation at the airport appears to be nearing a breaking point as more and more people arrive to get out of the country and they are extremely desperate. The Commercial side of the airport is currently closed and the only runway open is the military wing of the airport.
Update 20. The US Marines who were called up to help provide emergency support are unable to land at the airport due to the chaos at the airport right now on the military side. Another massive blunder by the US Gov't further complicating the mission of rescuing our citizens.

One of the entry gates to Kabul airport has been hit by a large explosion only hours after western intelligence agencies warned of an imminent terrorist threat.
The blast, which was confirmed by Pentagon press secretary John Kirby on Twitter appears to have occurred at the Abbey Gate into the international airport, was followed by gunfire and came as several western countries announced the end of their evacuation flights citing an acute threat of an attack possibly within hours.

I love how we are so flush with cash that we just leave untold millions of dollars of shite just laying around even though we had more than adequate time to plan a competent withdrawal that allowed for taking that shite with us.

The Taliban is also targeting Afghan fighter pilots off-base and has already assassinated 7.
