AAPS: 60% of 700 physicians surveyed not vaccinated

Of the 700 physicians responding to an internet survey by the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS), nearly 60 percent said they were not “fully vaccinated” against COVID. This contrasts with the claim by the American Medical Association that 96 percent of practicing physicians are fully vaccinated. This was based on 300 respondents. Neither survey represents a random sample of all American physicians, but the AAPS survey shows that physician support for the mass injection campaign is far from unanimous. “It is wrong to call a person who declines a shot an ‘anti-vaxxer,’” states AAPS executive director Jane Orient, M.D. “Virtually no physicians are ‘anti-antibiotics’ or ‘anti-surgery,’ whereas all are opposed to treatments that they think are unnecessary, more likely to harm than to benefit an individual patient, or inadequately tested.” The AAPS survey also showed that 54 percent of physician respondents were aware of patients suffering a “significant adverse reaction.” Of the unvaccinated physicians, 80 percent said “I believe risk of shots exceeds risk of disease,” and 30% said “I already had COVID.” Other reasons for declining the shot included unknown long-term effects, use of aborted fetal tissue, “it’s experimental,” availability of effective early treatment, and reports of deaths and blood clots.

The vaccine educator in my region keeps saying that 97% of docs are ... but I don't recall her ever saying "in Louisiana" or any specificity.

that organization also believes that vaccinations cause autism, and that hiv doesn't have anything to do with aids...

CHICAGO — The American Medical Association (AMA) today released a new survey (PDF) among practicing physicians that shows more than 96 percent of surveyed U.S. physicians have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19, with no significant difference in vaccination rates across regions. Of the physicians who are not yet vaccinated, an additional 45 percent do plan to get vaccinated.

Is this a distinguished organization? Seriously asking, never heard of them and don't know the industry.

AAPS = American Association of Physicians (Silly)

Leading up to the 2008 presidential election, AAPS published an article claiming that then-candidate Barack Obama was captivating his audiences through hypnosis.

That number will change in Dallas as nearly all the hospitals in DFW are requiring all staff be vaccinated or be terminated. That's nearly 100 hospitals including 10 major Trauma Centers.

AAPS is a conservative propaganda organization. Why is the right so gullible?

I’ve never heard of AAPS and I’d assume a vast vast majority of physicians in this country have been vaccinated.
BUT anytime you’ve got nurse, CrimsonFever, and Zappas Stache railing on a post/poster it’s hard not to think there is some truth to whatever they are opposing.
i’d bet you think Vox is a moderate news organization.

On its face that should ring false to anyone reading it. That's lower than the % of US adults that are vaccinated.

Brother in law is a doc. Not vaxxed. He says way too soon to know side effects.

So like, 60% of 0.05% of the total physicians in the US responded to a solicited, unverified, internet survey that they were not vaccinated eh?
Is that supposed to mean more than nothing? I'm confused.

Never even heard of this organization.
Most of the physicians I know are vaccinated. I know a few who aren't. I know a few who opined negatively about the vaccination, but were in line anyway to get the vaccination. There's are a fair bit of doomsday preachers as well.
From an anecdotal standpoint, there's seems to be a difference between the surgeons and the medicine physicians. I find the former tend to be vaccinated but rather lackadaisical regarding masking etc. The latter on the otherhand will be the ones still wearing a mask in a meeting where everyone else is vaccinated.
But whatevs, I'm just hoping all this nonsense comes to an end in the future whether we get better control through vaccination or through natural infections or we just learn to live with the seasonal spikes like every other virus.

The same peoples shitting on this organization will be the same people wondering why medical schools stopped distinguishing between male and female
Just a reminder, the “esteemed” AMA organization supported protesting for George Floyd during the pandemic. They are a leftist medical organization

People on the internet: I've researched this topic heavily!
Also people on the internet: Here's a poll done by an organization that believes vaccines cause autism.
