Dang man… ain’t for the faint of heart. Tell you that. Haven’t worked out or ate a sit down meal in 3 weeks! Everyone keeps saying it gets better… but it’s like I can’t even enjoy him because he’s a PITA more than anything right now lol

One is easy, two is difficult, but I have 4 boys ages 7-1. That shits insane, I wouldn’t wish that hell on anyone

If you let them break you of your selfishness a little you’ll be better for it.
Not that you’re particularly selfish. Everyone is a little selfish, and kids are good at knocking it out of you if you let them

It will get easier and it doesn't take that long. Dealing with a newborn is a lot different than dealing with an 8 month old. Still a lot of work.
My youngest is a teenager now and she's a pain in the arse again

Congrats!
Just be thankful you didn't have the NICU "experience". Both of my boys spent weeks in there...THAT is far more difficult than anything at home. Never got to experience either soon in the hospital room with us nor mom & son leaving the hospital together.

Just wait until the development / growth spurt at the 4 month mark...

It’s gonna get worse before it gets better, the sleep deprivation is the hardest part.

The first couple months are hard, but then they start smiling and that makes everything easier.
It's normal not to bond with them right away. Don't feel bad about that.

I am the father
He cries so much uncontrollably unless the tit is in the mouth
We did have a NICU experience
Hoping the next “difficult” parts are atleast a little more fun

You must be doing something wrong. While newborns aren't easy by any stretch, letting him suckle on your wife's tit for a while should bring some peace and allow you time to get stuff done.

I’m about to get fixed. Wife wants a girl, I’m thinking of going to do it and just pretend like my swimmers stop swimming
