So we reached out to some friends about the continuous screaming and they told us it sounded like colic or reflux. There is a literal magic potion medicine that immediately fixed it. He turned into a new baby today!
It is colic medicine from a pharmacy in St. Martinville called Dupois Pharmacy. For all new dads or dads of young fussy babies. This is a must!!

It’s more of an investment than a job in my opinion.

And also, it is very possible to vacation with a baby in tow.

Don’t worry. He will be a little a-hole before you know it

I notice you didn't name the medicine.

But why did you have to go to a pharmacy for whiskey?

That’s a really cool idea. Thanks for sharing. I might start doing something like that.

Possible yes. Enjoyable, no.

I’d rather sit at home than lug a young child through airports then deal with them upon reaching the destination

He did: Dupois Infant Colic Remedy
quote:

Dupois Colic Remedy is a non-prescription medication formulated thirty six years ago by Mr. Sid Dupois, using mainly natural ingredients. His knowledge and experience have made it what it is today - one of his most widely used and recommended preparations. It has made and continues to make several generations of grandmothers, mothers, and babies content with its successful, natural approach to relieving colic. Help your child or grandchild have a happier, healthier mealtime experience, and treat all involved to more restful sleep.
I have had friends swear by this too, but we never needed it.

Sorry about that. It’s literally called Colic Remedy from Dupois Pharmacy. It’s an all natural medicine so there’s not a crazy scientific name that you can’t pronounce on it

Wonder what else is in it?

Hope it works well for you. I'd still make sure he's getting enough milk.

When we were little, my parents called a similar type medication "red drops". "Red drops" ensured sleep.

Dang man… ain’t for the faint of heart. Tell you that. Haven’t worked out or ate a sit down meal in 3 weeks! Everyone keeps saying it gets better… but it’s like I can’t even enjoy him because he’s a PITA more than anything right now lol

I've got a 6 year old that was like that for the first 3 to 4 months. Was miserable, but once he got sleep trained, it all changed. I've got a 2.5 month old right now and was prepared to deal with it all again. Except she's super easy to deal with. Already sleeps through the night (until 4:30/5:00) without really having to do anything. Hell she's got a bad cough right now and just powers through it. Coughing fit, then goes back to sleep on her own. It feels like parenting on easy mode after our first experience. I guess my point is, it gets better, but also don't let it affect having kids in the future. Sounds like you are working on the hard end of the parenting scale right now.
