quote:

Head writer, Michael Waldron, says Loki's genderfluidity was never up for debate because it's an important part of who the character is.

quote:

Marvel’s comics recognize this aspect of the character from Norse mythology, as numerous storylines see Loki transformed into a woman.

"numerous" (since 2007)

If they keep it in line with him being a shape shifter who can take any form, cool. If they try to make this a trans thing, nah.

So wait, beings who aren’t from earth, don’t fit into normal earthly categories?

Curious.

Why are you still watching this garbage? The people who make it hate you.

He's not gender-fluid. He likes disguises, so he turns into a woman to frick with people. He doesn't alternate between hetero and homosexuality. The virtue signaling is disgusting.

According to Norse mythology. And the comics had him in a female form in the early 2000s.

Seriously dude?

Of all the things to bitch about a shape-shifter being described as gender fluid should be very far down the list

Imagine feeling so intellectually superior and woke to equate the stories in Norse Mythology where Loki transforms into other beings with the 2020’s transgender movement.

Good Lord.

I see this comment from head writer kind of like military bases being named after Confederate generals: had someone not done a shitload of digging, I would never notice the difference. I recently heard that the military base near me is on the line to be renamed due to being named after a Confederate officer. I have lived here within 30 minutes from it for 43 years and never once heard that this was the case.

Had you never told me that this writer said this, I would never have heard it because I didn't seek it out and wouldn't have given it daylight to grow.

He’s a frost giant. Please explain the gender roles of frost giants and why we should care.

I guess Odin didn’t know - "I love you, my sons."

Science fiction shapeshifting does not equate to today’s gender fluidity outside of fictional parts I guess.

Generation raised on hentai.

Well, to be honest, he IS the god of Mischief. I mean, it does make sense.

But what about The Wiggles?

Do fiction writers disagree about their fictional preferred pronouns too?

As long as they don't start virtue signaling at the Falcon/Winter Soldier level, I can overlook statements by the writers that I wouldn't have come across if it weren't for this board.

If their woke virtue signaling becomes a key focal point of the story, then I'll end up more disappointed than I was with F/WS. Loki has been off to a strong start so far with the introduction of the multiverse and the Timekeepers. I'd hate to see that die at the hands of pandering to the woke crowd.

Is this really news tho. He's a literal shape-shifter. That's what he does

Not to mention he is called the God of Mischief. Confusing people is what he does best
