They have some good speed in the outfield. If they could be coached up to get on base more, they could play very aggressively on the basepaths. He used that style some as an assistant here and I think it could be a way for him to get some early wins before he has a chance to build the talent up to where he would want it.

rehab at Nicholls and I can see Tulane hiring him at some point if not Gautreau first

He wasn't even a candidate for the tulane job the first time it came open. Seems he apparently burned some bridges there with the alum for some reason or another.But Thibodaux is Small Town USA, so he better keep his pants on.

You have no idea what you’re talking about. Cannizaro was one of the 4 finalists for the Tulane job in 2016
