Jewett is doing a tremendous job. You’d be foolish to run him off

Funny, he’s garbage . He’s not fit to be in charge of a program.

But weren’t you posting that LSU should look at him?

I was trolling.
Thought it was obvious. He should have already been fired from Tulane

Oh I see

I’m sorry. I thought you agreed that he’s done a nice job with that program. I think he’s doing things the right way and has Tulane trending upward

You’re either trolling me or you’re not paying attention. He’s done a truly terrible job

I’m not trolling a fellow college baseball fan brother

I admittedly don’t follow Tulane baseball as closely as I did when my cousin played there but I thought Jewett was doing alright

Or you’re too fricking dumb to read anything I actually said. You were mocking the idea of job offers to AC. That was fricking laughable

Nah, I’m sure he’s a fine hitting coach but he’s too dumb to be the head guy

You were saying he had offers last year. This isn’t last year.

Correct. This isn't an offer i was including in the ones i have previous knowledge of.

This is an offer, if i had to guess, he would likely accept.

I believe it would. Yup. They could become the terror from Terrebonne. That’s a pretty competitive conference as it is.

I think he already has.

You have no idea what you’re talking about. Cannizaro was one of the 4 finalists for the Tulane job in 2016

Tulane never seriously considered him they interviewed him as a courtesy to those who wanted him. All reports were that he wanted the job badly and was insulted by the courtesy interview.

They have some good speed in the outfield. If they could be coached up to get on base more, they could play very aggressively on the basepaths. He used that style some as an assistant here and I think it could be a way for him to get some early wins before he has a chance to build the talent up to where he would want it.
I think convincing Mainieri it is okay to straight steal bases was easily his biggest influence on the program while he was here. The hitting results were great because of the team but it was the same approach we’ve seen for the last decade.

One thing I’ve noticed about McDonnell is that his teams run as well. Going back to 2015 they’ve stolen 100+ bags every year but one, and that was 98 in 2017.
