What was with all the 3-page wrap in today's BATON ROUGE edition on Arch Manning and his grandfather, instead of a similar presentation/layout of Garrett Nussmeier?
It's understandable for the New Orleans edition to have such a package front and center on a hometown guy, touting the relationship with his grandfather, but that story probably didn't play well in Tiger Country.

She almost single handedly led Ole Miss to series win at LSU, including handing the Tigers their first loss of the season.
Can lead off or hit behind Coffey and give LSU a dynamic at top of lineup it hasn't had in a while. Terrific replacement in CF for Briggs to keep the defensive of that position intact.

Based on that logic DD Breaux overstayed her welcome. Yet, when LSU won it this year Jay Clark made sure to include DD in the team's celebration.
Chaffin is graduating and moving on, so with Berzon and Heavner, LSU will have dominant 1-2.
