Had a coworker leave work one morning to go take a physical. Went pull one off in a CVS parking lot instead. Some girl got him on video in his uniform cranking it in his car. He came back to work after and said the doctors office was too busy to do his physical that day. The cops snagged him in the parking lot after work. He got fired.
He actually showed up like a week later to work for a third party contractor but was turned away by the guards.

A guy hanged himself. They didn't find him until about 5 days later.

A male coworker, who was later fired, had built a cardboard barrier around his PC monitor to block out any passers by who may could peer over at his monitor screen. He was viewing and downloading porn pics/vids when we were first afforded internet access prior to a firewall installed at the company. When questioned about why he had the “box” around his monitor he counter with, “It blocks glare.”

Girl in my mod was embezzling. Before they caught her, she had taken over $400,000.00. When the FBI guys walked up to her desk she asked, “What took you so long.” BTW, this was Social Security money. Very easy to do. What she did was go into someone’s account, accrue a very large underpayment, change the direct deposit to her own account, send the payment, then change the direct deposit data back. She probably wouldn’t have been caught except she sent one of the payments to her account at the Social Security Employee Credit Union. The amount triggered one of their automatic reviews. Dumbass.

Watching the guy in the office next to me be perp walked out by the FBI and then being interviewed by several agents. He was caught for theft of trade secrets for - downloaded every digital technical report in the history of our company. Think Fortune 50 and 200+ years of information. Not sure why he needed info from the 1800s in smokeless gun powder but some the information covered contract work for the Manhattan project. He got caught because the secretary had to reorder copy paper early and IT traced down that he had printed thousands of pages on the printer. Served his time in the federal pen and was sent back to China where he is working in technology he was convicted of stealing.
1. A scientist committed suicide with a plastic bag and nitrogen because he was going to be laid off. He had medical issues and was afraid of losing coverage. His technician found him the next day in the lab. It was hushed up.
2. Former manager got in trouble because his wife was one of his direct reports. This was against company policy but because he was open about it HR only split them up. It came to light when it was anonymously reported to our corporate ethics hotline because everyone was doing her work at his instruction. The VP he reported to was fired because of it. A few years later the two divorced because she was cheating on him with another manager.

Coworkers defrauded the federal government, resulting in prison time, several million dollars in fines, and years of future federal corporate oversight.

Guy and wife worked at the same place and his wife got fired for bullshite reasons so a few months later he took a shite in the bathroom floor and just covered it up with TP. Coworker walked in and stepped right in it.
Nobody knew who did it though.
A few months later he did it again.
Then about 6 months after that he did it again. This time it was in a stall where someone had drawn a flower on the wall with a sharpie. He used some of his shite to color in the flower drawing.
Someone saw him go in there so he finally got caught and fired. I saw photos of the flower and he had shaded in the petals like a fricking painting

A couple of very senior people had an extramarital affair with each other that apparently lasted a couple of years. Their spouses were also in the same workplace. Both of these families had multiple children. I was too naive to pick up on the affair originally in part because I didn't expect such senior and respected people to put their personal and professional lives in such jeopardy.
Somehow this went on without blowing up publicly but at some point the two went from creepily close to very unfriendly. After (presumably) that affair ended the man then began to apparently have an affair with a 20 something Asian woman who worked for him. I am fairly sure I interrupted a blowjob in his office one weekend when I was working. Another person we knew said she saw the man in only a towel at their apartment.
A year or so after I left he died of a heart attack. I assume that was just cardiovascular disease but I wouldn't have blamed his wife (or his former colleague's husband) for offing him.

Worked for a mobile app company. Fortune 50 company that awarded us a contract required background checks for our employees. Background checks come back and CEO asks me to be “HR” and write down every word during a meeting with our sales girl.
Three of us enter a conference room and CEO proceeds to grill her on her background check. Turns out she had been arrested multiple times, including 6 months prior. She was last arrested for being blackout drunk, ending up in the hospital and calling the police saying an active shooter was in the hospital (there wasn’t).
As she is recalling this story, she is too scared to look at our CEO so is staring at me as I have to write down every word coming out of her mouth. She was fired the next day.
A few days later, I went to the hotel bar next door after work and the bartender proceeded to tell me all the times she came down there at 10am to polish off some whiskey and cokes. A few months later, I run into her at the hotel bar. She tells me she got a new job on the 14th floor of our building (only has 12 floors). Finished my beer and promptly left.
Top it off, co-worker plays me a voicemail he received from her at 4am a few months prior. She told him she had a dream his pregnant wife was going to die during childbirth.

20 years ago, I worked at Ormet Aluminum plant in Burnside.
When you worked overtime, you got a slip for $7 (to buy food vending machines, we had a hot food machine). You would take the slip to the guard shack, and they would give you $7 in $1 coins. One of the electricians I worked with decided to make several copies of the slip. He got busted, lost his job for stealing $7.
An operator in one of the units was caught smoking meth (or crack, not sure which), in the control room. It was just a tiny little control room, about the size of a closet. At night, there was only one supervisor for the whole plant. He was driving around and saw a new hire outside all night washing down. He stopped and told him to go take a break. The new hire basically said he couldn’t go in the control room because the other operator was burning some stinky stuff.

Dude for some unknown reason sent the porn he was looking at on his office computer to the (communal office printer).
Need less to say even though he was smart enough not to go pick it up off the printer he still got fired because IT is smarter than him. ??
Next best is dude falls asleep on the shitter (snoring) and company VP gently knocks on the door to the stall and says this is your wake up call. You’re fired.
Lmao. Dude didn’t really get fired but I bet he never dozed off on a shitter again.

One of our delivery drivers used to pick up freight from a local Home Depot store. He and an HD associate has a scheme where he would pick up a skid of insect repellent and drop it off at his house nearby before he would return to the yard. They would sell it and split the profits. HD caught on to it first and when they realize, they notified our company on what was happening.
When he was confronted by it, he denied everything and threatened to sue the company. Well the cameras at the store captured everything. Sad part is that he was an ordained minister![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)
