He was great at chewing arse...but lost a lot. Of he coached better he wouldn't have to chew arse.

He was 63, 66, or 70 in that video. But we know that someone who is 62 is way too old to coach! People will praise this but forget how old he is in the video. then they’ll talk shite about old people.
There is no way we would ever want to hire someone that old! I mean someone like that who has won three national championships. No way we want to hire someone like that

Wish he could give that speech about getting picked off at first to Morgan. That kid had lead feet in the regional getting back to first base.

Watch the next video. He didn’t hold back. Love it. Augie is a great one.

What people like you fail so miserably to acknowledge is that it isn’t just us saying Casey is a terrible candidate because he’s old, he himself questions his drive. If he wasn’t sure he had the energy years ago why shouldn’t we question it now?

If Skip has never come to LSU, Augie would probably the GOAT of college baseball.
They were so similar in the way they coached.

Auggie is right there with skip
5 titles(same as skip), did it at multiple schools(1 of only 2 coaches to do that), 2nd on all time wins

Because Paul threw off in game 2. His Dad lost a championship by throwing his best 2 the first two games and running out of pitching. Paul learned from that and saved his #2 for the 3rd game.

I like his fricking moxie. Everyone of those young men would have ran through a wall for their coach.

So you think Orgeron doesn't curse at his players or referees? Got it!

To be fair to the poster you’re replying to, O was ripped for chewing out his quarterback last year. Which is absolutely ludicrous on so many levels.

That was amazing! A coach that can chew arse out and not have to worry about putting a fricking bottle in the players mouth!

Love it; Augie was legendary and also a class act while being tough as nails.
However in hindsight that last one is kind of sad because it makes it pretty unsurprising that he had a stroke.

I'm only 90 seconds in and I want to resurrect Augie Garido and hire him right now.

coaches cussing out umps and players is literally baseball.
i could only fault Augie for his drinking.
