Is this something new? I have no doubt she is a woman (no pics).
The fact that you have no doubt of her gender proves your transphobia.
But to answer your question, it is new and it is becoming more prevalent. In fact, I saw it listed on a prominent law firm’s website next to each attorney’s name.

i'm going to be very frank (he, him, his) with you, i have no idea what message this is even trying to convey.

They are supposed to let people know that you are either LGBT, or you're LGBT-friendly, also called an ally.
For me, it lets me know who I need to stay away from and to avoid conversations with.

It has invaded Linkedin but did not know people had taken to extreme virtue signaling inside their places of work. Sickening. They must not have any credit cards because the one I just applied for only provided a male/female option.

Some kid we interviewed recently sent us a ‘thank you’ email afterwards and had his pronouns after his name. After asking a young engineer what it meant, I immediately crossed (him, his) off the list of candidates.
I bet that your HR department would like a word with you if they knew that. If you don’t have an HR dept. go ahead and get one.

In today’s leftist society, the only thing that matters is virtue signaling. It’s like woke currency.
Once you realize that, you’ve figured it out

You’ve expressed pretty strong liberal views on this board. I would have thought you would support this.

I've seen a couple from clients. Mostly liberal hipsters who work as doulas or some other useless shite like that.

Today I received an e-mail from someone I work with from time to time. She works for a large organization.
In her e-mail signature, behind her name and credentials, is (she/her/hers) just like that.
Tell me you “Trust the science” without saying you “Trust the science”

What exactly does it mean? Makes no sense to me why anyone would do this.
You're dead on accurate on this!

I've gotten more & more, so I've started responding in obvious troll form. It triggers the shite out of them & karens in particular seem to get the most worked up.

Maybe I wasn't clear, I thought you were questioning Why would anyone ask a new/young engineer anything...

I would say I find this hard to believe, but you are seemingly oblivious to obvious shite like this all the time
I don't work in a super progressive global firm with all sorts of "diversity initiatives." Most of my co-workers have been white straight males and females, and most of my clients have been the same.
I've had a few gay clients.
Most of my clients would leave our firm if we started using that kind of language. It is what it is.

1) This is the O-T, not poli talk. But your comment proves that many of y'all don't know the difference.
2) My "pretty strong liberal views" are only that way because most of the poli talk board is hard, hard, HARD right.
