But then knives would get all the negative press.
Right now, the media is focused on AR14 high capacity assault clips. Just two days ago, a knife tried to jump out of an innocent 16 year old girls hand and stab another girl. Instead of the story being about that knife, it's about the cop-trained handgun that murdered that little queen.
If not for guns, the media would be talking about that evil knife.

No I'm not making this up. I literally saw this yesterday on Twitter. I was so dumbfound, I didn't even bother responding. I just had to get off of the internet completely.
Something like 5x the amount of people die each year in America due to knife and blade weapon deaths than they do from rifles...numbers are like 1500+ knife deaths to 300 rifle deaths. And yet, the public is ginned up to worry about scary looking rifles...

That tweet us fricking wild. I mean, I don't blame the kids for fighting. That is a pretty normal thing. Not just for black kids either in my opinion. If I took a toll on the OT, I'm pretty sure majority would say they have been in atleast 1 fight in their life.
Fighting is stupid, I agree. But it happens. It happens especially in high school-aged children. I'm not sure if I'd be exaggerating if I said I saw 100 fights through my entire high school career. One thing I can guarantee is that I never once saw someone pull a knife out on the other individual during a fight. That shite isn't normal. It never has been. Hell, in most fights the person winning will stop once they see the other person is done, or if they don't stop, other people will butt in to pull them away before things go too far or get deadly. Kids trying to murder each other is not normal
Ms Bree Newsome is full of shite and she knows it. She's made her living off of hating white people. And she doesn't intend on giving up that way of living anytime soon.
