Mayweather/McGregor

Why do you think Mayweather never wanted to do a rematch under McGregor’s terms?? It wouldn’t have lasted 30sec. Don’t get me wrong... I can’t stand McGregor, but in a real fight Floyd would literally get killed by Connor.

He was fricking fast. The thing was, those fast punches were heavy....devastating.

Tyson was also a head case. That's the reason he won't go down as the greatest ever.

Tyson with the MMA gloves? Damn. Tyson could step into a phone both with another dude and knock him out. He didn’t need (or want) a lot of room. His legs were like tree stumps and his balance was remarkable.

In the octagon, shamrock would definitely be shooting but Tyson might could walk right through that. Shamrock wouldn’t want to take too many of Tyson's punches to the side of his dome or body trying to get the take down. If Tyson could stave off the early shoots, I’d think he’d have shamrock on the run pretty quickly.

Cus taught Mike early on how to peek-a -boo box. I know that because I imitated that style when I boxed golden gloves way back in the day. That basically means he ducked his head and slipped punches at angles that boxers back then had never seen. Add his amazing power and you have a deadly heavyweight. Tyson's most lethal punches were hooks and upper cuts.

That combination where he'd throw the right hook to the body to drop the hands, then the lightning fast right uppercut was a thing of beauty. I thought I'd just watched someone die on live TV when I saw this.

Tyson has no reach. Shamrock could kick him to attack and wouldn’t ever need to get close enough to allow Tyson to punch. If it was just a normal fight Shamrock would destroy him. Which is why boxers aren’t the best MMA guys.

You guys are under estimating how dumb Shamrock is. I wouldn’t put it past him to try to stand with Tyson to prove he can. Then get his head taken off.

I watched Chuck Lidell avoid being taken to the mat for years. If he can do it, Tyson could too. Plus, a bare fist Tyson would kill this chump.

Has no one learned what a submission guy can do? It’s not that hard to get people to the ground that have no takedown defense. Shamrock in less than 5 minutes would have broken both of Tyson’s arms.

Maybe. But can Tyson defend a takedown?

Y’all act like the only fighting Tyson has done is in a gym and boxing. Dude was practically a feral child running around Brooklyn in the 70s and has been insane his entire life. I’d have a hard time picking him to lose any fight.

Yall retarded if yall think Tyson would win in a fight. Shamrock is a straight killer in his prime. Yall might want to do some research on that.

Have you guys never seen the Ali vs Inoki fight? Ali wouldn’t fight Inoki unless certain rules were in place. That should be a clue as to which discipline would prevail in a street fight.

Most these folks don’t remember shamrock getting booed for breaking a guys leg in UFC instead of stand up fighting them.

Shamrock in his prime was filthy and went toe to toe with Gracie
