Lunch Suggestions: Baton Rouge to Biloxi

I'm traveling to Biloxi tomorrow morning from North Louisiana. I will probably hit Baton Rouge around 11 am. Any lunch suggestions between there and Biloxi? I'm pretty familiar with most options in Baton Rouge. I'm more looking for suggestions between BR and Biloxi.

By yourself or with family or a group?
There is a cool spot at the Sorrento/Donaldsonville exit. Coffee House at the Cajun Village is just off the interstate. Very casual spot. You can grab a late breakfast or lunch. They serve breakfast and lunch all day. I like the open faced beignet smothered with shrimp etouffee. Then can walk around the antique shops in the village. If there are kids with you there is a live gator they can check out.

Grab a snack of boudin and cracklins in Krotz Springs, then push onto Bay St Louis for lunch. Take the beach road down to Biloxi after that.
TBT for some beers, food, views, breeze.
ETA: Just do this, don’t listen to anyone else.

In Gulfport... about a block off the Gulf on Hwy 49... On the Half Shell. Get the Redfish Orleans - one of the best things you'll ever eat.

Drive a little bit further to Ocean Springs and go to Keg and Barrel. Went a couple weeks back and the place is awesome.

Mandeville/Covington will have lots of options. If you're through Red Stick at 11AM then you'll be on the Northshore just after noon.
Some options to consider:
- Morton's in Madisonville. Good restaurant and right on the Tchefuncte
- Can also recommend Chimes, Rusty Pelican, or Half-Shell in Mandeville/Covington.
- Slidell gets a lot of (mostly undeserved) hate on here but Kenneys, Pecks, or Southside are all great lunch options.
Bonus Feature: The next test firing of Artemis is scheduled for 4PM Thursday at StennisSpace Center. If your schedule allows, stop off at the MS Welcome Ctr and enjoy the staccato thunder!

I'll give a few spots based on location at time hungry:
St Fran (this would be early for you I think and you would have to come down 61):
The Francis
Magnolia Cafe
South of the Border (near LA/MS line)
Baton Rouge:
Ichiban
Portbellos Bocage
Stockyard Cafe
Hammond:
Tope La
Gulfport: Shaggy's
Bilox:
Blind Tiger
Patio 44
