Ours were dripping. Pipes were wrapped. Didn’t help anything. Power went out here. Call me skeptical but unless something got ran over, I don’t see why power went out at 6:45AM of all times.

I didn't see much ice on any lines and not many tree limbs left over lines to fall after the hurricanes

I considered it, but it has no carbohydrate content, so it would throw off my macros for the day :( oh the humanity

This baw is turning off his meter and going to a hotel. I'll deal with the repairs later. We're already so busy from hurricane season that I can't see how people with freeze damage will get any help any time soon. Insane.

Starting to think one more night of no power will be dangerous to my family. It's cold as frick in the house now.

I wake up every 3 hours to run the washing machine becuase that line is the only one in my house that scares me.

that was the plan, but my wife ran the hot water at 11, then when I went to run it again at 3, I tried to run the cold and it was frozen up

I woke up every 2 hours last night to flush toilets and run all the faucets/showers for a few seconds

GF called freaked out because the power went down. I’m pretty sure it’s a rolling blackout. At least I hope. Truck said -35 on the way into town this morning

Exactly, I mean I just got a new roof Saturday and now we're looking at hiring a plumber to fix the damn pipes. What the hurricanes didn't eff up, this shite will I suppose.

How's your morning going?

Power is back but pipes are frozen as well, not much can be done with that so I am just running the heater and fireplace while melting snow to make water for the toilets. Planning on taking a trek to the store later in order to pick up some drinking water.

House is toasty, pipes are fine. But my cable is out and my heart was set on a Love Boat retrospective on tvland or whatever that channel is . Now I’ll never know if Gopher finds true love. Damn all of you.

Seriously a valid concern. Power out here in Jennings. Went out around 6:45 this morning. Our pipes are OK except one faucet on the east side of the house.

Same. Everything was ok at 4am, too

Should I just leave the faucets open or turn off at the main?
