$5.15/hr at 16 in Summer of 2000. I remember getting bi-weekly checks for $350 and thinking I was rich

First payroll job, $3.15/hr.

That was less than minimum wage at the time, but they hired me underage.

As a busboy, $2.13/hour plus the tip out. Usually came to $8-10/hour on normal nights, or $12-15/hour on very busy nights or specific holidays.

Selling Programs at LSU Football games in 1990. We'd work about 5 hours and make $25-40 at 14 yrs old. Was the absolute best job for a 14 yr old kid. We got to do it through our High School.

Then $3/hour as a life guard at Blue Bayou in 1991 at 15 yrs old.
