I couldn't have been there with an excuse to stare at everyone, at 15 in the early 90s when chicks quickly became way less modest and shaved.

Would have been able to tell when it was close to quitting time from the sundial action id have had going on

$0.35/hr as a grill cook at T-Willies Frostop in Jackson, MS. Opened a savings account and deposited half of my first check. 3 months later, I got a $0.10/hr raise. As a 14 year old Capitalist in the 60s I thought I had hit the big time.

I never understood why so many people worked there in the heat for less than minimum wage.

I think I made like $15.50 per hour when I was 15 years old. Of course I was working for my dad, but that warehouse and cargo containers were brutally hot during the summer Texas heat.


Funny that my ssc statements reflects how much money I made before I graduated from college.

Same here. Started when I was 16 (1994). Was there till I graduated high school. Left there making $5.80 per hour!
