re: Sleep restriction for insomnia
Posted by DeltaTiger14 on 3/26/24 at 2:44 pm
For example if you're sleeping 4 hours a night and have to get up at 6 you wouldn't even try to go to bed until 2.
Seems like that would be making the assumption you are going to be sleepy at 2. I would say it's better for you to go to bed when you normally try to go to sleep. Seem...

re: Sore back remedies after a round of golf??
Posted by DeltaTiger14 on 3/7/24 at 2:48 pm
I don’t think it’s normal for an overweight person to hurt 3-4 days after playing a round of golf,
This for sure.
I am wondering if it's more the in/out of the golf cart than the actual swing stuff. Our regular group has a 6'5" monster that plays with us and he looks like he is gett...
re: 12 Steps vs other methods in recovery
Posted by DeltaTiger14 on 3/7/24 at 8:47 am
Going into my fourth year of sobriety, actually had 1 day of drinking in the last 6 years. This is a tough question, I can tell you that living in a rural area like I do the meetings were hard to sit through. 75% of the people in there were court mandates and they weren't serious about their recover...

I had this issue several times with our Mini Schnauzer. If he acts like is is feeling okay and drinking a little I think you are okay. Malaise and not taking in water means you gotta go. Boiled chicken and rice helps a lot when you see it coming on. ...

re: Mel Kiper moves Jayden Daniels up to number 2 in NFL draft
Posted by DeltaTiger14 on 1/23/24 at 2:32 pm
I feel like there's a Maye-type QB in the draft every year and they rarely ever work out. I don't know why you would draft someone like that over Jayden.
I absolutely agree with this. Some of the criticisms of Jayden I have seen is that he was surrounded by plenty of talent. I would ...

Our reno started 4/15 and was supposed to take 3 months. Dude just finished last month. I wouldn't do it again. The guy did great work at a good price, but he would have a stopping point in his mind whenever he got started. If it took 2 hours he would just leave for the rest of the day. They will no...

Grown Men Breaking Clubs
Posted by DeltaTiger14 on 8/7/23 at 1:09 pm
I don't understand it and it makes for an uncomfortable experience. Dude is at least 65 years old. Yesterday starting snapping his clubs on 16. Leaves the group while everyone else is putting on 18 and proceeds to make all kinds of racket in the parking lot as he breaks all of the remaining clubs. ...
