@oliverdarcy
Jeff Zucker has notified CNN staff that "the CNN Airport Network will end operations as of March 31."

"The steep decline in airport traffic because of COVID-19, coupled with all the new ways that people are consuming content on their personal devices, has lessened the need..."

I'm willing to bet that the new owners of CNN (AT&T) asked "why are we paying all of these airports millions of dollars to carry our network?" when our advertisers are refusing to continue paying our advertising rates on CNN Airport Network.

Follow the money...

Thank God. The worst part of having to travel for work is that constant CNN bullshite on every screen.

I hope they replace it with the steady streaming of fail videos like they have at Buffalo Wild Wings. Wouldn't be too different than what's currently playing.

I’ve been flying for 30 years and never once realized CNN’s broadcasts in the airports were separate and apart from their normal programming. What a stupid and pointless idea that was lol

Yeah right that's it.

They were only there to nobly provide a public service.

Will there ever be a public announcement on any subject that is not a lie?
