I don't even mean in terms of racist shite. I mean in general, and with everything. Did someone call someone a bitch? Done. Call someone a fig? Done. Etc. Anything that can be deemed hate speech should be handled exactly the same as this chick's scenario. Maybe then they will see the stupidity of ruining someone's life, education, or career (at least potentially) based on not only just words, but words from when they were young and didn't know any better.
And not trying to defend the N word here, but it's not like she even called a black person that word...she apparently just said it to her friends. So while a "racist" and hateful word, it wasn't even used in that context.
For the record, I don't think ANY words should be keeping anybody out of school.

Yea- he may have “taught her a lesson” but suspect he’s going to learn a few of his own through the years. Surely she was wrong for doing it, but as a 15 year old it shouldn’t be something that knocks your life off track like this. Teaching her a lesson doesn’t have to be the most vindictive retaliation you can come up with.

I had a couple of buddies who did it back when we were students and they said it was nothing short of the worst job you could ever imagine. I haven't given a dime to that school ever since I made my last tuition payment. They lost me the minute they tried to pull the gender neutral pronoun BS.

When I was a kid, I had black friends and called them that because they called themselves that and no one ever batted an eye, it was "normal" and everyone one did it.
