I agree with that, as well. It seems the Left wants everyone to be "equal" but the only equality they seem to be able to accomplish is equality of misery.

there was nothing remotely racist in any way as to what she said. if she had punctuated her sentence with 'frickers' or 'assholes' or 'bitches', etc etc etc then nothing ever comes of it.

The only way to solve injustice is by injustice and the only way to solve racism is by "anti-racism".
You can't just not be racist in their eyes, you have to be anti-racist. You can't solve what they think is hiring discrimination by ignoring names and races, you have to make the "victim" party's race the MOST IMPORTANT aspect. Its better to hire BECAUSE of race than to hire out of racial neutrality. They believe even racial neutrality is racist.
The entire mentality boils down to "you're either with us or against us".

Most of these people will overtly admit that they're depressed or angry all the time, but rather than work on why they feel that way, they insist that it's just who they are and that the world must conform to their personalities, which means they all want the world to be miserable so then they'll be the baseline for "normal".

The jackass said ok and gave me the fine.

This is exactly what LSU is implementing with their new required anti-racism curriculum. It's not a cultural sensitivity training as Chris Wallace likes to describe, it's a curriculum that tells impressionable kids that if they aren't actively fighting for SJW causes then they're no different than the offenders they're trying to destroy.

So exactly how has she been cancelled? She is not doing something she wanted to do, something she thought she was going to be able to do, something that UT thought she was going to and apparently wanted her to do. That is life...shite changes. Unless she simply lies down and dies she ain't canceled and if she does lay down and die she has canceled herself.
I got fired from a job once for dumping an water keg full of ice water over the jot superintendents head and whipping his arse. I was immediately unable to do something I wanted to do, something I thought I was going to do, something my employer thought I was going to do and something they apparently wanted me to do....until I dumped a water keg of ice water over the head of the superintendent and whipped his arse in the job parking lot. I could have canceled myself but that fricktard didn't have the ability to do it...he could and did cancel my employment but he didn't harm me in the least. The damage done my self image had I not whupped his arse would have been far more detrimental....
None of these stories about people being cancelled result in anyone actually being cancelled....actions have consequences. Use language in public that does not fit with the image of a major entity such as UT and you will find the consequences of your actions may not be to your liking....dump a water keg of ice water and whip the arse of your boss and you are going to suffer some form of consequence...
Finally how many of you whining about cancel culture today were whining about the Dixie Chicks having their careers derailed because they committed a sin against the right??? Kathy Griffith??? The right and the left does it in the same numbers and it is as deplorable either way....but the person being cancelled is only cancelled if they are simply not viable any longer...if they are they will overcome....even if they did dump a water keg full of ice water over their bosses head and whip his arse.

To what extent are you willing to hold people to account for things they did when they're young?
Are you going to agree with a university for preventing attendance because some guy pushed a girl down in the second grade?
No one here is saying that what the girl did was ok, but to have that mold her future in such a drastic way is beyond ridiculous. Would you be ok with this girl being banned from every university in the country?

If he life was based on being a cheerleader at UT and that was it she didn't have a life anyway. I agree, it is indeed fricked up and I doubt UT holds other students to the same standard and that is fricked up....but actions have consequences, regardless of how stupid we are when we do them. Using a well known racial slur in a public forum for posterity is liable to come back to haunt you. The girl probably never even thought of it in those terms.....it is a common usage amongst young people, especially black people but I hear white kids using it when they are alone in the same manner.....it is akin to frick in the 1970s....shocking and rebellious. But it also is well known to be one of a few words that are likely to cause a white person trouble should they use it.....she could very well be unaware of that, depending on her background etc, but it makes no difference....she was not entitled to be a student at UT and as fricked up as it is UT is entitled to decide they do not want her about the place. Hopefully the young lady comes out relatively unscathed....if she doesn't its her decision, no one is going to cancel her but her....

2nd, the Dixie chicks weren’t cancelled, dumbass. People stopped buying their shitty albums which is their right to do. Same with people not watching the NFL. If you rely on popularity to make money, then offending your money base so as to they spend their money elsewhere is not cancelling. Cancelling is using force via “you can’t work here no more” enacted by administrators. Not “we’ll simply stop patronizing you”.

She was granted admissions but was then rescinded over a Snapchat video over 4 years old. The more you defend this the more scum you reveal you are. Enjoy your misery. I haven’t met a liberal that was actually happy about life. You only want to drag everyone else down to your sad state.
