ADVICE - Medical Malpractice

I had laparoscopic fundoplication surgery on 12/11/20 and released from hospital on 12/12 feeling decent enough. On 12/19 I awoke at 4am with excruciating abdominal pain (worst pain imaginable) and had to take EMS to hospital. In the ER they did a CT scan and gave me Morphine and Demerol to no relief. They then gave me Ketamine with made me cease up and hallucinate for 10 minutes while my wife cried thinking I was dying (I thought I was dying also during this). Then they said I had internal bleeding around my liver possibly from being “nicked” during my surgery the week before, and admitted me.
The next 12 hours were spent barely being spoken to and given dilaudid shots every 4 hours to bring the pain from a 10 to a 8.5 for half an hour. Finally, after demanding a doctor come talk to me they gave me a morphine pump with a button I could press, muscle relaxers, nerve pain blockers?, and Tylenol drip.
The pain was then controlled enough to sleep a couple hours here and there before being released with a pain level of 5 and no active bleeding 24 hours later.
Do I have a case here??

Good luck. If you want to waste money just cash it out of your bank and light it on fire instead

Actual advice: talk to a med-mal attorney.
Now, if I was such an attorney and if I had practiced in that area for 20+ years and if someone told me what was related here on the phone I wouldn't schedule an in-office appointment for them because it would likely be a waste of both our times. This of course is just in my capacity as a tOT shitposter so it should not be taken as legal advice or advice of any sort. Boobs.

Going in to the K-hole is awesome. I don't see what you're complaining about.

Nope.
That doesn't mean an ambulance chaser won't take your case and get you a settlement... driving up the cost of healthcare for everyone...
But no, you don't have a legitimate case for anything.

Who do you want to sue ER doc or the surgeon?

Don't listen to these losers. Talk to a medmal attorney.
IF you were nicked during surgery then yes you potentially have a case.

If you had surgery then they made you sign a consent where you acknowledged the potential risks associated with your particular operation

Yea I'm not sure why people said "no" so quickly. Somebody fricked up and it wasn't the OP.

Doctor left a sponge inside you.

Could have been a Junior Mint.

There’s no such thing as a “case” unless you’re Sidney Powell or Lin Wood filing the only righteous lawsuits known to the courts.

A lot of people pay good money for that.

Hospital gave me penicillin against my chart and sent me into anaphylactic shock in the middle of surgery. Needed CPR and 24 hours of breathing treatments - spent weeks with blown blood vessels in my eyes.
Urologist performed lithotripsy three times on the same side, in the same day, causing the kidney to enlarge and bleed internally. That’s some real fricking pain my friend.
In each case I recovered and got on with my life. No attorney needed.
Grow up and quit sucking off the teet.

In this case, that’s most likely exactly what it will mean.
