I actually think this is a good idea. My boy Jacoby Ford played for Hue and loves him to this day.

LINK

This is Hue on the I am athlete pod; Brandon Marshall, Fred Taylor & ocho’s pod.

Dude is frickin solid & just feel how much they respect him. Solid coach & brings a totally different dimension off the field that I guarantee isn’t in the building right now.

I'm down with this. I feel like Hugh Jackson is a solid offensive coach, but this team needs unity way more than it needs a spectacular hire at OC.

The offense hasn't been THAT bad, especially considering we've had true freshmen at qb since game 4.

I didn’t mean mentor in a traditional sense. Pretty easy to understand in the context I used

i still don't get why people are freaking out

we're not an NFL team and we wouldn't be hiring him for HC

he's really good at coaching other than specifically being a HC of an NFL team. he's a good NFL OC and very good WRs coach

Very good wide receivers coach is pushing it

He was only a wide receivers coach for a year or two.

He was mainly a qb/running backs coach and an oc

I think he would be a good hire on the lsu staff

I know what a terrible idea to have an black coach that black players love and relate to to come and smooth over any lingering animosity over mishandling of racial issues at a time when those issues have come to the forefront.

I actually agree with Lester Earl here. But I also agree that Orgeron might feel too threatened with Hue Jackson around.

Ryan Clark would love if he was hired. Being black and all.

This is so fricking stupid.

Regarding Hue I don’t think he would fit here. We don’t need to be adding more age to one of the oldest coaching staffs in the country
