I don’t think the independent firm will have everything ready until at least mid January.

Sorry, but whether we like O or not, these kids are coming here for him. If O goes, I would bet the house all of our out of state recruits decommit and we probably lose a few instate guys. Not saying I'm happy with O right now, but firing him would set the program back about 4-5 years, if not way way longer. Our best bet is to support him and hope he can turn it around

We will see, but I have huge doubts Woodward does anything.

With the right hire, staff and early signing period, you could keep a decent class ( especially if they get all the commits to early sign ).

I still can’t believe the head coach of a major college team allowed himself to be photographed with his shirt off in the sack with his whore. What a fricking moron

This!!!!

I don’t give a shite that he got some arse, but damn man, you can’t let these pic get out. Especially in today’s social media climate.

Just terrible judgement. If had just one functioning brain cell he would have either not allowed her to take the pic or made her delete it immediately

If this is the case then we aren't getting any of the coaches we want. Who is our Matt Luke going to be?

Can you imagine if the NCAA came with additional sanctions. If the program gets knee capped I don’t see how the athletic department gets out of the 80mil hole they are in now, things would be really really bad all over.

Maybe Woodward uses this to scare this shite out of O, and forces a contract renegotiation if he wants to stay. At minimum cut in half. No school is gonna pick him up as a Head Coach if he gets canned. He goes back to being the 2019 O.

Keeping O will shore up the recruiting base as some have stated. Have E retire and we do something nice for him for his service. Lenihan and Pelini go and we go get younger more progressive coordinators.

LOL. Recruits' phones are literally ringing off the hook and dinging with text messages left and right as we post.

I agree with Nitwit. This bowl ban would’ve carried some weight, maybe, with ncaa in August-September. But now, they see that we’re not giving up much...a NO Bowl vs ULL?

Recruiting happens every year. It’s nonsensical to not make a good long term move for short term results that may not even happen anyway.

This excuse was used over and over on here as to why we couldn’t fire Miles after each awful season. All it did was waste potential great years to save one recruiting class at a time.

In these situations, you have to rip off the bandaid quickly to move forward.

The entire report wouldn't need to be ready for them find cause to fire Orgeron. If that's really their intention, I would be investigating everything involving him first.

It does make you wonder why he's been so quiet. He's making some moves behind the scenes. Probably trying to see what leverage he can get and what he would have to do to soften the blow a bit.
