Goldens are A+/OT10 dogs. Pits are an F. Change my mind.

I have never in my life seen a golden who wasn't goofy as hell and loyal and always happy. I swear they are God's gift to man and at the very top of the dog list.

Shed way too much to be an A+.

I'm in the market for a Golden and they're hard AF to find for a reasonable price. Guess I'm gonna have to pony up to get one.

When it comes to dogs, there are plenty of 9.99s. But, there is only one true 10...

Goldens are GOAT. I mean, shedding, whatever. They're perfect dogs.

Golden retrievers are the perfect product of evolution and breeding. Penultimate example of perfection in animal form.
ETA:
Shedding aside, I don't care about that because we brush and furminate our dog a fair amount to get the loose hair.

Just consider it a ten to twelve year expenditure. Makes me feel better. Wish the lived 15 years. Mine is nine.

pass on both.
Every white woman in suburbia under the age of 40 now has a Golden or a doodle. Pits
and pit mixes should be outlawed from all dog parks. My Vizsla and poodle are far superior pets and animals compared to either.
Dog breeds id rather own before a golden or a doodle: German Shepherd, GSP, Aussie, Doberman, or another greyhound

My rescue is some kind of German Shepherd mix. Best dog I've ever owned.

Or I could just not deal with it all by owning a dog that doesn’t shed.
