I love both movies, but the original is my favorite film of all time.

Great scene for sure. Also loved the Ghostbusters getting chased out of the birthday party because the kids wanted Heman.
I still love GB2, but the original was much better written and cast.

No. I prefer the second one as well. Just had more access to it as a kid on vhs and watched it over and over.
The first one is probably a better movie but I “like” the second one more.

Probably. But the second one is one of the best sequels in movie history though. Maybe not “the” best, but it’s really an incredibly well done sequel and is just plain good.
But the first one is better.
