I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m starting to warm up to cats

I’ve always been a dog person. Had a chocolate lab growing up, and I have never met a medium to large sized dog that I didn’t like. (Small dogs are a different story). They are the most loyal, obedient pets one can have. I still want to get a golden some day when I finally own a house.

The girl I recently started dating (no pics) has 2 cats. At first I was apprehensive, having experienced cats that were either sweet or complete assholes with no in between.

It turns out that these creatures, once they trust you, are some of the more lovable animals in existence. They will jump in your lap and purr away, while not being needy and annoying like a lot of dogs are. And they seem to be much lower-maintenance and cleaner. The fact that they automatically shite and piss in a litterbox is super convenient.

Any of you baws convert to liking cats?

Have a great cat living in my house, probably because he’s not one of those a-hole hide from everyone scratch you cats. Catches bugs and shite.

You can have our cat. She's 10 years old but it feels like we've had her for 30. She runs away as soon as you walk to her, hides under the bed all day long and only comes out and night to frick shite up by knocking things down, batting the kids' toys around the house, and meowing loudly at other animals she sees through the window. Barely see her during the day but I could make another cat out of the fur that she sheds and spews all over the fricking house.

Bitch is healthy as can be and won't fricking die.

So much easier to make a weekend getaway and leave the pet behind. Just put a little extra food out, and they self maintain. No more boarding fees or asking friends to stop by twice a day.

Depends on the cat. Mine is pretty kick arse, and actually goes out for walks.

Cats are awesome. Dogs are needy as frick and annoying as shite when they don't get their way unless you get lucky.

Dogs are awesome

Cats are awesome

Animals are awesome

If you hate an animal you’re a bad day away from being a serial killer.

Those things are fricking killers. Don't let anyone tell you differently. The only thing separating a tiger from a cat is their size. Plenty of big dogs like Great Danes aren't really "dangerous" but if you made a house cat the size of a Great Dane you'd basically have a fricking panther on your hands

We just got a second cat. They'll never replace dogs for me, but I sure do enjoy having them. They're literally some of the funniest creatures to just watch.

Get a blood test to see how low your testosterone levels are.

i have great fondness for most animals. I have 2 dogs and have many dogs in my lifetime. i have 2 cats and had a few in my lifetime. All of my cats have been much more affectionate than my dogs. My wife calls one of my cats my shadow as she is always by my side. The only annoying thing about them is when you are trying to sleep in they are purring in your face.

Cats have been known to steal a baby’s breath.

So there’s that in the negative column (KOL-yuhme)

I've always liked cats. Dogs never seem to like me and the feeling is mutual. My dislike of dogs started when I was a kid and got bit a couple of times by shitty neighborhood dogs. You can keep all that walking the dog and picking up their shite nonsense, too.

I used to have dogs, but I traveled too much, so I switched to cats because they are lower maintenance. I have 3 rescues, and they are all great cats. 2 hide at any strange noise. One has never met a stranger. All 3 will take you down for Temptation treats. The male outweighs the 2 females combined, but they run his life.
