Registered Libertarian, 2016 Gary Johnson voter, and I have already sent in my ballot for Trump.

Given the importance of the election and some monitoring of popular libertarian social media accounts I dont think Jorgensen is going to get anywhere close to the numbers that Johnson got. People are already debating how important it is to pick the lessor of the two evils this election.

Libertarians are more anti-Biden than anti-Trump by a about a 4-1 margin.

Here some of Johnson highest % in certain states.

NM - 9.3%
AZ - 4.1%
MN - 3.8%
WI - 3.6%
MI - 3.6%
GA - 3%

The handful of people I know personally that voted for Gary Johnson in 2016 are voting Trump this time.

I voted for Johnson in 16. Both 3rd parties (Green and Libertarian) have horrible options this year. Any decent 3rd party could have got a nice number and would have been a great addition..

Gary Johnson actually got a lot of airtime in 2016. I had to look up who the Libertarian candidate was when it was time to prepare to vote because it's been crickets this cycle.

Johnson was an idiot but he's 1,000 times better than that Jo Jo idiot they have running as a "libertarian" this go round.

This logic makes me so irrationally angry.

I voted for Obama in 08, Johnson in 12, and I'm leaning Trump. (I just threw up in my mouth a little)

thanks...I forgot to add NH where Johnson got 4.1% of the vote. Much larger than the difference between HRC and Trump.

Why?

Trump = Freedom
Biden = Communism

Anyone else is a wasted vote.

I'm surprised this isn't being talked about more. Could flip Nevada too.

Johnson got 3.3% in Nevada.

Trump got 45.5%.

Hillary got 47.9%.

NV - 3.3% or 37k. Just more than vote difference between the top two.

Everyone has the right to vote for whomever they choose. That being said, I will never understand why any conservative would vote for a third party candidate. That equals a vote for the communist. In this case it was Clinton.

Johnson in 2016, Trump this year. The libertarian platform describes me best and Joe Biden and the big gov socialist are the biggest enemy of that!

If you feel someone would not do well at the job, then they haven't earned your vote, then you shouldn't vote for them.

I 100% think a no vote is doing more good for your country than voting for someone who you think will not make a good President. And I think that's just a no brainer too.
