Factoring in the condition of the road, the traffic and the crappy businesses that exist there, what is the worst stretch of road in Baton Rouge?

For me, it's hard to beat College Drive between Perkins Rd to I-10.

Government Street
All the people trying to turn
Certain sections are terrible
All the lights
The non turn lanes
School zones
adding roundabout
train blocking the road at times

Turning left from Perkins on to Acadian is a bitch around 5 everyday. Especially on Fridays.

Incidentally.... The Nicholson/Brightside intersection is a million times better since they put in the turn lanes.

Pretty much all of Airline highway between 12 and the river. None of the lights are timed correctly, there's a light every 100 ft, the road condition is horrendous, and for some reason it's a black hole for satellite radio

It's not BR, but La.1 from the intercoastal to Plaquemine is pretty awful considering the amount of traffic it gets daily.
1. Too many lights and/or terrible sequencing.
- They should be flashing yellow from 4:00am till 7:00am
2. Bumps and potholes galore
- I cringle my entire drive thinking about what it's doing to my truck.

College between I10 and Perkins

Hate that stretch with every ounce of my being and will do almost anything to avoid it, even though I live near it. Acadian is much better at all points in the day.

Gardere between GSRI and Hwy 30

If you don't lose an axle from the craters in the road, you will have a leftover stench in your car from the sewage treatment plant.

This is Baton Rouge, there are a TON of options for the traffic criteria.

-the 110-12 corridor
-12 from Essen to Range
-Florida from Airline to Denham Springs
-Sherwood Forest
-Most of Perkins
-Bluebonnet anywhere north of Perkins
-College/Lee

Take your pick.

The Seigen/Sherwood and Airline intersection has become interesting - it was pretty good for a long time but recently there’s been bad wrecks and a bicyclist hit (not a bike safe intersection)

Greenwell Springs Rd.

Used to be Choctaw Rd but they made it SUPER nice now. Businesses still suck.
