My reaction after Springer officially going to another team. It's expected, but I'm still very very very sad.

Springer on the Jays is like Olajuwon on the Raptors. Springer is just that guy that you couldn't imagine in any other uniform.

I may buy the MLB package this year to watch Toronto. Also wouldn’t mind watching the Padres a bit this year as well. They remind me a lot of the Houston team when they first started going on their run. Fun to watch

If Toronto signs Brantley after Springer with the staff they presently have, they should fire the owner. LOL

I know it was inevitable but this one really hurts. George Springer getting drafted was the start of the golden age

Man woke up feeling pretty bummed. I knew he wasn’t coming back but still sucks to see it official

He’ll go down as my 2nd fav stro all time and the only reason Bidge gets the nod is he spent his entire career with us

George was a damn pleasure to watch.I remember when he first came up and did interviews he struggled so bad with his stutter. Was so awesome how he turned that into a way to help others. Can’t name too many other players that always seemed to have a smile on their face having a blast playing the game

Now that I’ll never have to see it again, I’ll miss him swinging for the fences with RISP and less than 2 outs instead of trying to put the ball in play

The back end of that deal is all we can really hang our hat on. I don’t think springer’s game will age well

I knew it was coming but seeing it official is upsetting. Best of luck to George and I hope he has a successful time in Toronto except when they play us... I hope he is really bad against the good guys.

Devo to the Diamondbacks on a 1 year deal worth 1 mil.

TYFYS in that one all-star year Devo but other than that good riddance

I don't get the blue jays plan here. Their pitching is still dogshit. Unless they plan on trading top prospects soon they are at beat a wild card contender.

I guess they’re thinking improve the defense, score a lot of runs... who cares about pitching?

That works well to get you into post season. Not so well in the post season.

You have to admit the Blue Jays are going to be fun to watch.

Yea the pitching there is whack, Ryu is a ToR arm and Pearson has upside then it's just a bunch of 5th starters after that unless they can harness something with Robbie Ray

The bullpen looks to be below average as well even with them just signing Yates.

Their staff is bad. They should be trying to sign another rotation arm instead of signing Brantley. They’re gonna end up paying Grichuk like 10m a year to be a 4th OF while they have a barely functional back of a major league rotation. I don’t see it working vs NY or Tampa. They will be fun to watch though.
