Family ones are the ones that were annoying and I left them all, except for immediate family. I'm in one with my wife, son, and daughter.
The worst is my in-laws. They'll add me to one with 15 people and most of them I don't have in my phone so I have no idea who they are. I immediately leave those.

I am a part of at least 8 group texts, only 1 is with friends. It's a necessary evil. Can't tell you how often I forget about a scout meeting, a practice, etc etc..
