Fauci is part of the '4th branch of government', all of the acronym alphabet soup organizations in DC, the actual swamp. He is an entrenched bureaucrat and is untouchable, unless the legislative branch takes back its legislative powers. Anyone proposing the gutting of these organizations would commit suicide via shots to the back of the head. Too much money involved.
