Why would anyone actually listen to that nut job anymore?

He has said the most unbelievably bogus and inflated statements since this started and yet, somehow, people still want to take advice from him

Hey. Be nice. He's the public servant of the year-just in time to shine his creds for pre-election skullduggery.

Which means that by January, the total number of deaths that can be HONESTLY attributed to Covid alone will be about Tree-fiddy.....

The country is better off with fewer fatasses and Boomers anyway. Win, win.

They certainly did. Left daycares and some primary schools open.

True. They implemented social distancing measures and moved guests outside.

I agree that they did the right thing not going with a lockdown. Some people just don't realize Sweden isn't completely normal and hasn't been.

Why don't we focus on getting the vaccines to the nursing homes right away, then to our healthcare workers, and to our higher risk younger people before the end of the year?

That may work better than fear mongering.

That isn't what Fauci said. He said that deaths could rise to 300,000 or 400,000. The word likely wasn't used and you left out the lower range.

Listen for yourself

Stop spreading bullshite.

If you choose to completely ignore the consensus of experts, and the anecdotal evidence on the effectiveness of masks because of a “gotcha” moment caught by a photographer while Fauci momentarily had his mask down, you’re the worst kind of person. And you’re the very reason the hundreds of thousands more people will die. Toddler POS.

Serious question: Are there any scientific studies that demonstrate that mask use will move the needle on this in a meaningful way? I accept that in certain scenarios they help around the margins, but there are some trade offs in the other direction too. This whole issue is a lot more nuanced than people think. Many countries, including the Scandinavian countries have pretty much stuck with the earlier guidance that healthy people don't need to wear masks.

I haven't seen anything.

Just due to physics putting any kind of barrier will help to some extent, but distance is the best barrier.

The only thing wrong in the picture is the implied fiddling while Rome burns.

It's him and two other people, the other two have masks, and he has a mask he brought down temporarily for saying something. If paparazzi followed us around they would catch every arse scratch too.

Not saying don't be angry or disappointed. But at least understand the reason to be angry and disappointed.

Go back to March when they said 2 million. Edited because the worst season info I had looked a bit sketchy.
