Have you ever seen the Star War Holiday Special?

it was mentioned recently. I've known of it, but never really looked into it. But now I want to see it. Looks like Lucasfilms will never allow Disney+ to release it.
Has anyone on this board seen it? Is it as bad as advertised?

Unless George somehow had it written into the sales agreement I don't see how Lucasfilm would be able to tell Disney it can't come out since Disney owns them.
I've seen a most of it but have never been able to finish it. It's pretty bad. It opens up with wookies talking to each other for like 10 minutes. After Bea Arthur sang a song as she closed down a bar I was out. Here it is on YouTube if you want to suffer. LINK

Never watched the whole thing, but I've watched several Youtube videos reviewing and mocking it so I know the "plot" and have seen all the worst bits to know what an unfathomable trainwreck it was.

If you watch it, I would definitely watch it with the Rifftrax commentary. It's definitely awful.

watched a few years ago at an egg nog recipe competition party amongst friends. Egg nog drunkenness + star wars holiday special is fugging weird.

I had always heard how weird and bad it was. Decided I just had to see it for myself a year or two ago. My only regret was watching it by myself. I could see it being hysterical if you got together with some friends and got heavily inebriated. It is beyond strange though, I really can't describe it to you.
