Looking for some good casual places for lunch/dinner
A good beer spot, and maybe a local distillery to visit.

Trying to avoid the slew of obvious tourist traps up there.

Is there a legit BBQ place in the area?

We ate at JT Hannah's its was pretty good, nice casual spot.

Little Tokyo was very good.

Old Mill Cafe was very good.

Hahahhahahahhahahhahahhhaha, that’s pretty much all that is there. Go to Highlands if you want good non tourist/chain food.

Not really

Local Goat is really good. I’d highly recommend it.

There's probably a Cracker Barrel or 3 nearby.

Wish I could help more, but when we went, due to the Covid and the immense amount of people inhabiting Gatlinburg, we ended cooking almost every meal at the cabin, which I highly enjoyed.

We did grab lunch one day at Mama's Chicken Kitchen, which was really good. Fast and casual.

Smoky Mountain Brewery made the best English style brown ale I've ever had. Black Bear Ale. Decent pub food and a good place to watch a game.

Timbers Log Cabin Restaurant is good spot for lunch. It is off of Glades Road; i.e. the craft area loop road near Gatlinburg. Google it, there are lots of pictures of the food on the internet.

Just got done eating at peddlers steakhouse. Good food and great service

We also ate lunch yesterday at cliff top bar. One of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had. It’s up on the mountain at anakestas. There wasn’t many people there because of the weather But I could see it getting busy on a regular day.

Its a bit of a drive, but English Mountain Trout Farm. Is really neat. You catch 'em; they cook 'em.

For lunch-Taste of Italy for italian/pizza. NY style pizza, good prices.

I would avoid the pancake houses in Gatlinburg, unless you are staying downtown. The ones in pigeon forge have the exact same food, but lack the hour+ wait time.
