At peoples houses. I’m not talking 20/30 people. And I’m not really saying they’re parties. But people go hang out together at friends and relatives instead of going out to a bar/restaurant. And some people (blacks) generally hang out that way anyway and never really stopped during any mandate because it was never part of the shutdown. Check any parish and state and the AA community is much more largely affected.

Also look at the videos of block parties and gas station get together. Some people took the lock down as time to party.

Masks really aren’t that big of a deal. I don’t understand the complaining over them. They’re an inconvenience sure, but it’s not as terrible as people are making it out to be.

They shouldn’t be mandated by the government. If private industry and individuals choose to wear/require them, fine. It’s called freedom.

This is my prediction too. The state needs to be in "phase 3" by September 26 to let LSU have a limited amount of fans in the stadium. So, we'll be told we need to see the Labor Day numbers and get a 2 week extension of "phase 2" today.

I Don’t necessarily think the capacity limit has to be attached to a specific phase though. We’ll see. We aren’t really even in the original phase 2; it’s like 1.5. So maybe the next 2 weeks will be the first phase 2.

I couldn’t agree more. Masks have become politicized and are now the symbols of conservatives being oppressed.

“Modified” phase 3 holding some things back from phase 3 such as bars. Not sure what the restaurant restrictions are for a true phase 3.

No version of phase 3 will happen before 9/21.

there are like 15 or so states that don't have statewide mandates

no states are fully open yet though

South Dakota is probably the most open state

My prediction:

He will say we are doing better, but we need to get the labor day numbers in, which will take 2-3 weeks. So he will extend 3 weeks.

then in 3 weeks, he will say, oh, we are doing better, but with schools starting back up and people going to sporting events, we need to get those numbers in.

Then it will be the Halloween numbers, than the Thanksgiving numbers, then the Christmas numbers, etc.

It's time to open it all up. Keep the mask mandate, keep the social distancing mandates, but let everything open back up in some capacity.

Knowing him, he’ll cancel High School football. It’s too dangerous.

Don't blame him.... blame the white people that supported and put him in office not just once but twice.
