masks will probably be the very last COVID mandate/restriction to be lifted

None of it makes rational sense. It's all unscientific.

The lockdowns never made any logical sense nor did the science ever support them nor the mask mandates. The science that was used to justify them (which still was insufficient) turned out to be completely false by an order of magnitude.

A false narrative backed by false science created an unconstitutional and economically suicidal prolonged policy of arbitrary oppression and unrest, and for what!?

It’s time to end this suicidal charade that never should have been instigated, but instead we’ll go on with it due to partisan politics in the name of Orange Man Bad.

Thousands of people are being told they can't work because their job has been labeled the scapegoat for transmission.
The transmission was never due to bars being open. JBE admitted this about a month ago when he finally said that 90%+ of spread was due to people hanging out at private residences/parties. And that’s still continuing. It’s also why blacks have such a high rate of spread. They tend to hang out at each other’s houses/apartments more than any other demographic.

You can go to a bar, but you have to wear your mask when you use the bathroom or when you order non alcoholic beverages

Something about blaming the out of state Electrical lineman doing the repairs for causing a spike in cases.

Extend 2 weeks then re-evaluation.

Phase 3 September 21, assuming no spikes from Labor Day and etc. He knows that he can’t just come out and say we’re staying in phase 2; there would be tons of backlash. Saying it will happen in 2 weeks buys him time

What does JBE constitute as a spike?

I think he postpones his decision by 1 week. Citing lack of numbers and labor day spikes still unknown.

I think it will be a 2 week delay...14 days from Labor Day

It's just until we can flatten the curve.

At peoples houses. I’m not talking 20/30 people. And I’m not really saying they’re parties. But people go hang out together at friends and relatives instead of going out to a bar/restaurant. And some people (blacks) generally hang out that way anyway and never really stopped during any mandate because it was never part of the shutdown. Check any parish and state and the AA community is much more largely affected.

Day 179 of 15 days to flatten the curve.

100 people could die from suicide or have their lives ripped apart by losing their jobs, marriage, house and life savings from the restrictions being extended even longer.

But all JBE is worried about is saving that 1 person that might die from a pre existing condition and have COVID. Cause he’s gotta get his a federal funding.

I don’t give a flying frick about the mask mandate if he opens this state back up. 100% capacity of everything but you have a mask mandate. frick it, I’m just ready to get back to going to things

Phase 3 September 21

This is my prediction too. The state needs to be in "phase 3" by September 26 to let LSU have a limited amount of fans in the stadium. So, we'll be told we need to see the Labor Day numbers and get a 2 week extension of "phase 2" today.
